Crochet

Crochet is a handicraft technique in which a textile product is created using a crochet hook and yarn.

Competitors are expected to demonstrate the ability to carefully follow given instructions while also applying their own creativity within the task. The task requires versatile knowledge of crochet techniques, a good understanding of materials, and well-developed practical skills.

The task demands technical precision, consistent quality, structural control, and the ability to finish the product to a high standard. The goal is to produce a high-quality, carefully executed, and aesthetically successful textile product.

Competition Rules set the overall framework and regulations that apply to all skills competitions.

Charter of Judges provides instructions on the judging procedure and use of the Assessment Framework.

Technical Description explains what the skill is about and what competitors should be prepared for.
