Embroidery
Hand production of patterns and embroidery models, observing a given topic and using different styles of embroidery stitches.
Description of the skill
Embroidery is the art of creating decorative patterns and designs on fabric, guided by a specific theme. Competitors are expected to produce embroidered work using a variety of stitch styles, demonstrating creativity, precision, and mastery of technique.
The task requires interpreting the given theme, selecting appropriate stitches, and executing detailed work with consistency and care. Success in this skill relies on fine motor control, artistic expression, and an understanding of traditional and contemporary embroidery methods.
