Painting and Waste Reuse
Realization of creative objects (functional and/or aesthetic) using waste materials.
Description of the skill
Painting and Waste Reuse is a creative skill focused on transforming waste materials into functional and/or aesthetic objects. Competitors design and produce original creations using discarded items, guided by a specific theme or concept. The process involves imaginative repurposing, artistic painting, and thoughtful composition to give new life to materials that would otherwise be considered waste.
Success in this skill requires innovation, environmental awareness, and strong design and craftsmanship.

Technical Description

The Abilympics Metz 2023 Pre-task Assignment may be used for practice. It does not describe the 2027 competition task or assessment requirements.
Task Assignment
Task Assignment is the actual competition task that competitors complete, based on the Technical Description.
