Making a wood carving according to given drawing.
Description of the skill
Wood Carving involves shaping and detailing wood to create a decorative piece based on a provided drawing or model. Competitors are expected to demonstrate precision, creativity, craftsmanship, and control in the use of carving techniques.
Competitors must interpret the provided design accurately, use appropriate hand-carving tools, and apply carving techniques to achieve the required form and details. Attention to detail and an understanding of wood properties are essential to producing a high-quality finished piece.
