Poster Design
Designing a poster including text and design forms in color on a given theme using computer.
Description of the skill
Poster Design involves creating a visually impactful poster that communicates a given theme effectively using text, shapes, colours, and layout, using computer software. The process begins with a planning stage, where competitors develop ideas and concepts aimed at achieving specific objectives and reaching the intended audience. During this phase, all visual elements—such as typography, imagery, and colour schemes—are thoughtfully composed to serve the poster’s purpose. Creativity, design thinking, and technical proficiency in digital design tools are essential to produce a cohesive and compelling final product.
