Finland to host the International Abilympics 2027 competition

The International Abilympics 2027 competition for people with special needs will be held together with the Taitaja 2027 competition, creating the Skills Games mega-event. The event dates are 10–13 May 2027.

In the three-day Abilympics competition, professionals with special needs compete in tasks requiring skills in their respective professions. The Abilympics competition showcases 43 different skills, and competitors from all over the world. 

The Abilympics 2027 competition will be organised in collaboration between Skills Finland and providers of vocational education and training, particularly the network of vocational special education institutions. The organisation of International Abilympics Helsinki 2027 competition is supported by The Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.
